Richmond Falls to Davidson on Road

DAVIDSON, N.C. - Richmond closed within five points midway through the second half, but Davidson pulled away down the stretch in a 74-61 win over the Spiders on Monday.
After tallying a team-high 20 points in his collegiate debut against American on Friday, Kendall Anthony went 6-of-10 from the field and sank 5-of-6 free throws to finish with 17 points.
The only other Spider to reach double figures on Monday was sophomore Cedrick Lindsay, who also poured in 17 points to go with a game-high five assists and three steals. Darrius Garrett scored six points and pulled down a team-best seven boards.
Now 1-1 on the year, the Spiders were an efficient 27-of-33 from the line while also securing 10 steals and recording just 13 turnovers on the night. Davidson improves to 2-0 with the win.
Richmond returns home to host Hampton on Thursday at 7 p.m.
