
Peterson Repeats As A-10 Player Of The Week

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Senior Katelin Peterson was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week for the second-straight week after scoring four goals and dishing out two assists in two Spider victories over the weekend.
Peterson netted her third-career hat trick and assisted on the fourth in Richmond's 4-1 victory over La Salle on Sunday that clinched the Atlantic 10 Regular Season Championship and top-seed in this weekend's conference tournament.
The Escondido, Calif. native also assisted on the game-winning goal by sophomore Christina Amorose in Richmond's 1-0 win at Massachusetts on Friday.
Peterson ranks fourth at Richmond in career points (116), goals (45) and assists (26).
The Spiders,who have won seven of the last 10 Atlantic 10 Regular Season Championships, look for their seventh tournament title in the same span this weekend at Saint Joseph's.
Richmond plays fourth-seeded La Salle at 11 a.m. on Friday. Temple and Massachusetts play in the other semifinal.
