Harper Goes For 20 Yet Again As Spider Win 20th On ESPN2

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Justin Harper scored 22 points, making 7-of-9 field goals, grabbing nine rebounds and blocking four shots as Richmond improved to 20-6 and 9-2 in the Atlantic 10 with a 64-52 victory over Saint Louis Saturday on ESPN2.
Richmond posted its third-straight 20-win season as the Spiders won their fourth-straight game and the seventh in the last eight. Of Richmond's 20 victories this season, 16 have come by double-figures and all but one has come by eight points.
The Spiders improved to 10-3 at home, having won 27 of the last 31 games in the Robins Center.
Harper scored 20 points for the 11th time this season, including the ninth time in the last 13 games. He is averaging 21.2 points and 7.3 rebounds per game in 11 Atlantic 10 games.
Dan Geriot scored 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting as he scored in double-figures for the seventh-straight game. Kevin Smith scored 10 points, making 3-of-4 field goals and 2-of-3 three-pointers, with five steals and four rebounds.
Kevin Anderson scored eight points, had four assists and two steals. Anderson moved into fifth on Richmond's all-time career list for assists with 382. He is now in the top-5 at Richmond in points, assists, steals, field goals made and minutes per game. Francis Martel had five points and three assists.
The Spiders, who are tied for the longest current road winning streak in the nation at eight games, will play at Temple on Thursday in rematch of the 2010 Atlantic 10 title game. That game will be broadcast nationally on the CBS College Sports Network.
