Fifield Named A-10 Player Of The Week

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -
Caitlin Fifield was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week after leading Richmond to a 2-0 week in conference play.
Fifield led Richmond in a 15-4 win over La Salle and 13-9 victory over Temple en route to a seven-point week (six goals and one assist). The junior attacker also registered four groundballs, nine draw controls and caused a turnover as the Spiders improved to 4-0 in the A-10.
Fifield opened the week with three goals in a 15-4 Richmond victory over La Salle. The North Babylon, N.Y., native then recorded three goals and an assist while picking up five draw controls and two groundballs in a 13-9 win over Temple.
Fifield is the second Spider to garner Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honors, as classmate Mary Flowers has earned the honor twice this season.
