DAYTON, Ohio - Due to unplayable field conditions at Dayton's Time Warner Cable Stadium, Saturday's Atlantic 10 baseball game between the Spiders and Flyers has been postponed until Sunday.
The field's tarp blew off during an overnight storm, forcing the postponement of Saturday's game due to field conditions. The teams are now set for a doubleheader Sunday beginning at 11 a.m.
This marks the second-consecutive weekend the Spiders have been forced to play a Sunday twinbill in the Buckeye State. Last Saturday's game at Xavier was postponed by rain.
Richmond and Dayton are tied for second in the A-10 standings, each with 5-2 records in league play.
