
LAX Spider Bailey Zerr Tabbed Player Of The Year

Spider lacrosse freshman Bailey Zerr was tabbed Lacrosse Magazine's 2011 West Girls' Player of the Year.
Zerr hails from Cherry Creek High School in Denver Colorado. Zerr scored an impressive 106 goals to lead her high school to the Colorado state championship. The Bears scored a whopping 508 goals last season, buoyed by Zerr's 106 tallies.
Zerr was the Denver Post All-Colorado Player of the Year and an All-American first team. Zerr was the top point scorer in the state and was a member of a three-time state champion team. Zerr also garnered All-Colorado team honors.
Zerr is one of 11 new Spiders on the women's lacrosse roster. Richmond has made back-to-back Atlantic 10 Championship finals the past two seasons and is host to the 2012 A-10 Women's Lacrosse Championships.
