Field Hockey Hosts No. 1 ODU

The Richmond field hockey team hosts No. 1 ranked Old Dominion Friday at 4 p.m. at Crenshaw Field.

The Spiders are 5-4 on the season with all four losses coming by one goal, including two in penalty strokes. Richmond is coming off a 3-2 loss at ACC power Virginia on Sunday.

The No. 1 ranked Monarchs are 10-0 looking for its first 11-0 start since 1992.

Richmond is 1-0 on the new turf at Crenshaw Field having defeated American 2-1 last Friday in the home opener.

The Spiders head down route 64 East on Sunday to play at William & Mary.
