
Fifield Named Atlantic 10 Player Of The Week

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- Caitlin Fifield was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week as announced by the league office Wednesday afternoon.
Fifield scored a season-high five goals in Richmond's win over Old Dominion and a hat-trick against No. 13 James Madison, including the game-winner with 24 seconds left as Richmond won its third-straight game, 13-12.
A Babylon, N.Y. native, Fifield also added two assists to the eight goals for a total of 10 points on nine shots. She caused seven turnovers and had a ground ball and a draw control in the pair of wins.
Fifield leads the team with 19 goals and has started every game this season. Fifield was a an All-Conference second team selection last season and was named A-10 Player of the Week last April.
Richmond plays at Towson Saturday at 1 p.m.
