Brothers, Anthony Nab Final A-10 Regular-Season Nods

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Junior Darien Brothers was selected Atlantic 10 Peformer of the Week for the second time this season by the conference office on Monday, while freshman Kendall Anthony received his fourth Rookie of the Week honor.
Brothers poured in a game-high 30 points to lead Richmond to its fourth-straight win over Dayton and the team's fifth-straight over the Flyers at the Robins Center. The Richmond native was 9-for-14 from the field in the victory, including a 3-for-6 clip from long range in addition to his 9-for-11 night at the line.
Anthony added 20 points on 6-of-11 shooting in Wednesday's win. The Jackson, Tenn., product has reached double-figure scoring in 22 of the Spiders' 31 contests this season, including five 20-plus point performances. He currently ranks third all-time among Spider freshmen with 414 points on the year.
The defending Atlantic 10 Champion Spiders return to action on Tuesday at 7 p.m. when they visit La Salle for their first-round conference tournament matchup with the Explorers.
