Third-Seeded Spiders Face Duquesne Friday

NEWPORT NEWS, Va.- Third-seeded Richmond will square off against No. 2 Duquesne Friday at 1 p.m. at Robins Stadium in the semifinal game.
Duquesne secured the No. 2 seed with a head-to-head win over Richmond Sunday. Top-seeded UMass will face GW Friday at 3:30 p.m. in the second semifinal game.
The finals will be played Sunday, April 29 at 1 p.m. and will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
Richmond is 9-6 all-time in tournament play, and is 1-0 against Duquesne in the A-10 Tournament. The Spiders have never face the Dukes in the semifinals, with their lone win coming in 2005 for the conference crown. Richmond enters the A-10 Tournament with three titles (2005, 2006, 2007).
The winner of the championship will advance to the NCAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament play-in game.
