UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Richmond Spiders football team practiced at Robins Stadium this morning, running through drills and working with their individual position groups for two hours.
Friday morning marked the 14th scrimmage so far this fall for the Spider football team. On Saturday morning, Richmond will scrimmage for the first time in training camp. Practice will begin at 9:45 a.m. at Robins Stadium, with the scrimmage scheduled to begin at 10:45 a.m. and last for approximately 45 minutes.
The Spiders are scheduled to have three more scrimmages this fall - August 21, August 22 and August 24. All three scrimmaged will be held at Robins Stadium.
This fall, all practices during training camp are open to
the public. With practices being held at both Robins Stadium and the
Grass Practice Fields on River Road, fans attending practice are asked to
remain in the bleachers. In Robins Stadium, fans are asked to sit in the
stands on the west side of the stadium.
