Field Hockey Ranked No. 25 In The Nation

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond field hockey team is ranked No. 25 in the nation in the latest Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I National Coaches Poll.
The Spiders are coming off a 2-1 loss to currently No. 2 ranked Princeton on Sunday. Richmond was tied 1-1 with the then No. 4 ranked Tigers with under three minutes to play, before Princeton (4-0) scored the game winner.
The Spiders are 3-2, with both losses coming to top-10 teams. Richmond's only loss other than Princeton was to currently 9th-ranked Virginia.
The defending Atlantic 10 Champion Spiders play at No. 17 ranked Duke on Friday at 6 p.m. and then travel to Davidson on Sunday.
