Spider Baseball To Wrap Up Fall Season On Wednesday

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond Spiders baseball team will wrap up the fall season on Wednesday when the team plays the inaugural Tommy Gilman Classic at Pitt Field at 2:30 p.m.
Under first-year head coach Tracy Woodson, the Spiders will be divided in to two teams – Team Forrer and Team Small. Richmond will then play a seven-inning game with umpires to conclude the fall season.
The game is named for Tommy Gilman, the former head coach of the Spiders from 1977-84. During his eight seasons at the helm of the program, Gilman posted a record of 167-128-1 (.566).
Below are the rosters for the Tommy Gilman Classic, which will be played on Wednesday at Pitt Field with first pitch set for 2:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to attend.
