Spiders Announce 2014 Schedule

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond head coach Allison Evans announced the 2014 women's lacrosse schedule Monday, which features nine home games in addition to hosting the 2014 Atlantic 10 Championship.
The Spiders continue their tradition of playing a challenging non-conference slate with four of their opponents having made last year's NCAA Tournament.
Richmond opens its 2014 slate with Liberty on Feb. 7 and Duke a week later at Robins Stadium.
Following a four-game road swing that includes NCAA participants Maryland and Virginia, the Spiders will host Notre Dame and William & Mary, March 11 and 21, respectively.
Conference play will begin April 4 at Saint Joseph's, before hosting La Salle, George Mason, George Washington and Massachusetts for four-straight games at Robins Stadium.
After traveling to Duquesne and St. Bonaventure at the end of April, the Spiders will host to the 2014 Atlantic 10 Lacrosse Championship that begins May 2-4.
