Spiders Continue Road Action At Duquesne Sunday

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond continues road play with Duquesne Sunday at 2 p.m. in Pittsburgh, Pa.

The Dukes
come into Sunday's game with a 18-4 overall mark, 7-1 in A-10 play. The Dukes
are most recently coming off a 61-33 win over St. Bonaventure Thursday. Wumi
Agunbiade leads the Dukes with 13.9 points per game, while April Robinson
contributes 9.1 ppg. Agunbiade's average increases to 16.1 ppg in A-10 play.
The Dukes are outscoring opponents by 11.4 ppg and shooting 37 percent from the
field. Duquesne is turning the ball over almost eight times less than its
counterparts, good for first in the A-10. The +11.4 scoring margin is second in
the league only to Dayton. The Dukes have won seven of their last eight games,
and boast a 10-1 mark at home. Duquesne looks for its first win over the
Spiders at home since 2009.

Richmond
fell in the last minute of the game to rival GW, 57-54, Wednesday at the Smith
Center. The Colonials scored four points in the game's last 10 seconds to sneak
past the Spiders, ending Richmond's eight-game win-streak in the series.
Freshman Bria Powell scored a career-high seven points. The Spiders are led in
scoring by King's 13.2 ppg, followed by Rachael Bilney's 11.1 ppg. Becca Wann
is leading the team with 66 assists or 2.75 apg. The Spiders are shooting 39
percent from the field, 32 percent from long- range. The Spiders have made 73
percent of their free-throws.

own a 12-4 all-time edge in the series with Duquesne. Richmond beat the Dukes,
59-45, last Feb. at the Robins Center thanks to two-sport athlete Becca Wann's
double-double (14 pts, 12 rebs) and Rachael Bilney's 13 points. The Spiders'
last trip to Pittsburgh was full of drama, as Richmond staged an incredible
comeback to overtake Duquesne, 72-58, Jan. 19, 2011. The Spiders found
themselves down 18 points early in the second half and pieced together a
scoring flurry to topple the Dukes. Richmond is 5-2 all-time in Pittsburgh.
