McGuire Named Top Assistant By Florida Basketball

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- Florida Basketball Magazine named Mike McGuire one of its top assistant coaches.
This is the second recognition for McGuire, who was mentioned as one of the best assistant coaches in the country by the National Women's Basketball Insider last season.
McGuire was one of 28 assistant coaches mentioned in the article. McGuire, a Roanoke, Va. native, is in his fifth season with the Spiders. McGuire has helped the Spiders to four-straight post-season appearances and a 101-59 record in his tenure at Richmond.
