No. 19 VCU Edges Spiders At Siegel Center

Richmond, Va. - The University of Richmond men's basketball team fell in a hard-fought, back and forth contest to No. 19-ranked VCU at the Siegel Center on Wednesday night, 93-82.
With the loss, the Spiders fall to 17-13 on the season and to 7-8 in Atlantic 10 conference play. The Rams improve to 24-6 on the year and to 12-3 in league action.
Junior guard Cedrick Lindsay matched his career high for the second-straight game, netting 22 points to go with four assists and three rebounds. Freshman Terry Allen had the best game of his young career, recording his first double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds - both career bests.
Freshman Alonzo Nelson-Ododa had 11 points and four rebounds, while sophomore Kendall Anthony chipped in 11. Junior Derrick Williams added six points and six rebounds.
The Spiders will be back in action on Saturday night at the Robins Center for Senior Night as the team will face the Duquesne Dukes in the regular season finale. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
