Bilney Tabbed To All-Academic Team

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Rachael Bilney was named to the 2013 Atlantic 10 All-Conference Academic team as announced by the league office Thursday.
The Rhetoric and Communication Studies major posted a cumulative 3.45 GPA to qualify for the All-Academic team.
Bilney ranks 18th in scoring at Richmond (1.061 points), second in career three-pointers (195), fourth all-time in games played (126), and is fifth in a single season with 69 long-range shots this season.
Bilney scored a career-high 32 points and hit a school-record eight three pointers in a win over GW last season. Bilney sunk a season-high seven threes in a thrilling comeback over Xavier this season.
Bilney is second on the team with 11.6 points per game and is shooting 38 percent from long-range (69-of-185).
