Sam Stevenson Tabbed A-10 Player Of The Week

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- Sam Stevenson was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week as announced by the league office Tuesday.
Stevenson scored a season-high six goals and tallied one assist in Richmond's 16-15 win over Temple Sunday. Stevenson rounded out her stellar weekend play with two goals and an assist against Saint Joe's Friday in Richmond's 13-7 senior day win.
Overall, Stevenson tallied 10 points (8g, 2a), took 13 shots, grabbed 12 draw controls and caused one turnover over the course of the weekend. The seven draw controls pulled down against Temple Sunday was a season-high for the Darien, Conn. native.
Stevenson finished her decorated career fifth all-time in goals (152), eighth in assists (46) and fifth in total points (198).
