Dates Announced For Men's Lacrosse Summer Camps
05/28/2013 | Men's Lacrosse
RICHMOND SPIDER SHOOTOUT
This camp enables you to get a jump on the recruiting process by providing you the ultimate stage to display your talents and abilities. Similar to other “Blue Chip” or “Showtime” events, the design of the camp is to maximize the recruiting process for you by limiting the number of players enrolled, as well as only playing one game at a time. One game, one field, and normal sized rosters: equals full exposure to college coaches in attendance. What separates us from typical recruiting events is the additional emphasis on teaching. On staff will be some of the best coaches in the country and each day will include one session where the emphasis is to learn concepts and fundamentals. No other prospect camp in the country will provide you the amount of teaching that we will.
CAMP MISSION
Richmond Spiders Shootout is designed to give each recruit the ultimate platform for exposure by playing competitive games in front of college coaches. Also, as a believer that: games in any sport and every level are won or lost based on the execution of fundamentals, I believe that in addition to providing a platform for exposure we need to provide the proper instruction as well. We plan to bring together the best rising seniors, juniors, and sophomores from around the nation for recruiting exposure, lacrosse development, and high-level competition. This camp is open to all graduates of the 2014, 2015, and 2016 classes.
