Wo Men's Tennis Posts Program-High GPA

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- The Richmond women's tennis team posted a program-high GPA in the 2012-13 academic year.
Richmond posted a 3.57 cumulative GPA for the fall semester and had a 3.54 GPA for the spring.
“I feel lucky to coach such a dedicated and motivated team,” said head coach Mark Wesselink. The GPA's we had at a school like Richmond is impressive.”
Three Spiders earned postseason awards with Melissa Kandinata and freshman Anna Abadias being named to All-Conference first and second teams, respectively, while Elizabeth Sims was named to All-Conference Academic Team. It was the second-straight academic accolade for Sims.
