Kobelja Named A-10 Performer Of The Week Again

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – For the third-straight week, senior Mali Kobelja of the Richmond swimming and diving program was named Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Swimming & Diving Performer of the Week, announced by the conference office Tuesday.

Kobelja, a senior from Fort Wayne, Ind., tallied two first-place finishes this past weekend against Duke. She scored 22 points for the Spiders overall as she won the 100-yd breaststroke (1:04.00) and the 200-yd individual medley (2:05.25), along with placing second in the 200-yd breaststroke (2:19.16).

This is the 13^th-career weekly honor for Kobelja, as she was received the honor for the third-straight week.

Richmond will jump back in the pool Thursday, Feb. 19, when it travels to Geneva, Ohio for the Atlantic 10 Championships.
