Spider Football Moves Up In Media Poll

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – After moving to 4-2 on the season with a 41-28 win at UAlbany, the University of Richmond Spiders moved up in the media poll this week.
With its impressive win over the Great Danes, the Spiders moved up to No. 19 in the latest Sports Network Poll released on Monday – up three spot from the previous week. In the FCS Coaches Poll, Richmond maintained their ranking of No. 20 in the nation.
Under head coach Danny Rocco, the Spiders have been a constant in the national rankings the past three seasons. In total, Richmond has been nationally ranked 18 of the past 23 weeks.
Richmond returns to action this Saturday when it hosts the Rhode Island Rams on Homecoming at Robins Stadium at 3:30 p.m.
