LAST TIME OUT
The Spiders are coming off a tough single-game weekend as the Lock Haven Bald Eagles, 1-0, edged them this past Sunday at Crenshaw Field. The loss put Richmond on the line for a bid into the A-10 Tournament, which is being played Nov. 7-8 at Crenshaw Field. The Spiders need to gather one more conference win to secure a spot in the tournament.
FAMILIAR FACES
When Davidson comes to Crenshaw this Sunday two familiar faces will be walking on the pitch. Former Richmond goalkeeper coach Kristen O'Rourke is now with the Wildcats as she spent the past four seasons at Richmond. Also on the sideline at Davidson is former Spider standout Catherine Ostoich, who is also Samantha Ostoich's older sister. A 2012 Richmond graduate, Catherine was a four-year starter and helped the Spiders to Atlantic 10 Championships and NCAA appearances in 2009 and 2011.
SENIOR DAY VERSUS THE WILDCATS
The Richmond athletics department will honor the six Spider Hockey seniors prior to start time Sunday against Davidson. Seniors Rebecca Barry, Blair Kline, Samantha Ostoich, Allison Siegel, Helen Warner and Kelley Wentling will all be honored Sunday afternoon.
CRENSHAW FIELD HOME OF 2014 A-10 CHAMPIONSHIP
