Twice a month, we'll visit with a different Spider student-athlete in the Spider Spotlight. Zach Chu is entering his final season as a walk-on with the men's basketball team. The consummate team player, Chu leads the scout team squad in practice. His hard work in preparation makes him nearly another coach on the practice court for the Spiders.
Chu has played in five games in his Spider career, hitting two three-pointers in a victory over UNCW in 2012-13, helping Richmond get to 100 points.
