Barry Named All-American For Third-Straight Year

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – Senior Rebecca Barry of the Richmond field hockey team was named to the 2014 Longstreth NFHCA Division I All-American Third Team for her third-straight year with All-America honors.
The Limerick, Ireland native led the Spiders to their eighth Atlantic 10 Championship as Barry was named the 2014 A-10 Offensive Player of the Year. The three-time First-Team All-Region honoree finished the year with a team-high 15 goals, four assists and 64 points.
Barry was also placed on the Synapse Sports All-American Third Team last week.
Richmond finished the 2014 season 12-10 overall and 6-2 in the league, bringing home their eighth A-10 Championship in program history and making an appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
