WLAX Versus Duke PPD, Next At Maryland Sunday

Richmond women's lacrosse had its Friday game with Duke postponed, but the Spiders are still on for now to play at Maryland Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Spiders won the season-opening game at home over Liberty last Friday 16-7. In that contest, Junior Emily Doyle (Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J.) collected seven points on three goals and a game-high four assists. Doyle and junior Anna Jeszeck (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.) led all players with three goals each. Eight different Spiders scored at least one goal in the opener. Goalie Emily Boyce (Middletown, Md.) had three saves in the Liberty victory to start her junior campaign.
The Terrapins are scheduled to open their season at noon Friday at UMBC before facing Richmond on Sunday at 1 p.m.
