Student-Athletes Thank Spider Club Members

The Spider Club held its 8th Annual Student-Athlete Thank-a-Thon April 7-10. This year, 257 Spider student-athletes from all 17 teams called to thank Spider Club members for their support and generosity. A total of 1663 households were called during the four night calling period. Student-athletes were able to thank 506 members and left 990 voicemail messages of gratitude.
Additional thanks from the Spider Club go to nTelos Wireless for providing additional cellular phones to facilitate a larger group of callers.
Spider Club members should be sure to receive a thank you call next year by renewing membership by June 30, 2014.
