Team Notes
- With its 42-17 win over Hampton, Richmond has now won 14-straight games against FCS, non-conference teams from Virginia.
- With the victory over Hampton, Richmond is now 20-1 in non-conference FCS games in the regular season dating back to 2005. Including FBS games, the Spiders are now 18-7 in non-conference, regular season games since 2007.
- With its win Saturday night, Richmond is now a perfect 8-0 in night games at Robins Stadium.
Player Notes
- RB TJ Moon completes his second career reception for an 8-yard touchdown with 3:51 to go in the first quarter.
- TE Hunter Westfall scores his first TD of the season with a 6-yard reception from QB Michael Strauss with 9:56 to go in the first half.
- QB Michael Rocco has his season-high run of 15 yards with 4:24 to go in the third quarter and records his second rushing TD of the season.
-RB Jacobi Green scores a career-best two rushing TDs (one for 4 yards, one for 50 yards) as he recorded his second career 100-yard game. The junior led the team with 134 yards on 15 attempts.
-LB Aaron Roane recorded a career-high 2.5 TFL, as he led the Spider defense with a season-high 12 tackles.
- TE Sean Fitzpatrick scores his second TD of the season and second for his career with a 12-yard reception from Strauss.
