01/23/2015 | Women's Swimming & Diving
The Richmond swimming and diving program hosts James Madison for its final home action of the season, Saturday at the Robins Center Natatorium. Senior Day ceremonies start at 11:50 a.m., with action in the pool starting at noon.
The Spiders send off their five seniors, AnneMarie Bilott (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), Katherine Cook (Kenilworth, Illinois), Anna Fetter (Westfield, New Jersey), Meredith Gouger (Cockeysville, Maryland) and Allison Titley (Richmond, Virginia / Saint Gertrude HS) in their final home meet.
The Dukes and Spiders last met in a dual meet in Richmond back in 2011, with the Spiders pulling out a nine-point victory on that season's senior day for Richmond.
Richmond is gearing up for its final run towards the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship, which takes place in late February. This is the third-straight Saturday the squad is competing in January, with a meet at Villanova scheduled for Friday, January 30 to complete the dual meet schedule.
The home meet will be streamed live on the Atlantic 10 Network through SpiderTV, with fans obtaining a pass for 24 hours for the $4.95 fee.
So far, Richmond has seen four student-athletes capture six A-10 weekly awards throughout the course of the season.
