Spiders Swimming & Diving Back In Pool Saturday

Richmond swimming and diving rejoin forces with a meet Saturday at Virginia Tech, with the action taking place at the Christianburg Aquatic Center. The swimmers will take on the Hokies, while the divers face Tech and and the Kentucky diving program.
Both the swimmers and the divers spent time over the Holiday Break on separate Training Trips. The swimmers went to Sarasota, Florida for workouts and team bonding, while the divers spent a week in Knoxville, Tennessee, mixing in a two-day competition at the Tennessee Diving Invitational after the New Year.
The swimming and diving teams have not competed together since the Patriot Invite, at George Mason, on November 22.

This is the home stretch for Richmond, as the program readies for the Atlantic 10 Championships, which will be February 18-21 in Geneva, Ohio.
After the trip to Virginia Tech Saturday, the Spiders will next compete against Fordham and La Salle up in The Bronx, New York on Saturday, January 17 for a last look at conference opponents.
The Spiders will host James Madison on Senior Day on Saturday, January 24.
