WIth ESPN's College Gameday as a backdrop, and a record-breaking crowd and regional television audience watching, the Spiders outscored JMU 59-49, setting their own records along the way.
The No. 6/8 Spiders are 6-1, 4-0, with six straight wins and own sole possession of first place in the CAA. Quarterback Kyle Lauletta (415 passing yards), running back Jacobi Green (236 rushing yards) and wide receiver Brian Brown (204 receiving yards) all established career highs. Coach Fisher's offense set a school-record with 720 total yards.
This Saturday, Richmond hosts Albany at 3:30 as the Spiders celebrate homecoming at Robins Stadium.
Again this season, Spider Club members can register at Outback during the program by showing their 2015-16 Spider Club membership card to win a Spider Fan Pack of great prizes at the end of the season. Chances of winning increase by attending and registering each week.
New this season, a live video webcast of the show will be available on the Spider Athletics YouTube page. A video archive of each week's show will be posted on the same page and each show will also be archived for audio playback in ESPN 950's Audio Vault.
