UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The No. 6/8 ranked University of Richmond Spiders return home to Robins Stadium on Saturday after a pair of huge road wins, including a 59-49 victory over No. 3/4 James Madison, to welcome Albany on Homecoming.

Last Time Out
The game certainly lived up to the national hype provided by ESPN's College GameDay on Saturday as the No. 11/12 Richmond Spiders (6-1, 4-0 CAA) defeated No. 3/4 James Madison (7-1, 4-1) 59-49 in a thriller at Bridgeforth Stadium.
The Richmond offense was historically good, generating a program record 720 yards of offense led by RB Jacobi Green who ran for a career-best 236 yards to go with an astonishing five touchdowns. His yardage total ranks seventh all-time in a single-game while his five scores are tied for most in program history.
National Ranking Streak
The Spiders move up five spots in the STATS FCS Poll this week and four spot in the FCS Coaches Poll, achieving their highest ranking so far this season. The recognition marks the 21st consecutive week dating back to last season that the Spiders have been ranked nationally. Richmond was included in at least one of the major polls each week during the 2014 campaign, reaching as high as No. 8.
One-Two Punch
Richmond wide receivers Brian Brown(116.3) and Reggie Diggs (82.3) are 1-2 atop the CAA in receiving yards per game. Brown hauled in a career-high 204 yards in the matchup with JMU. Diggs has recorded over 100 yards receiving in each of the last two games, with a career high 142 yars against Rhode Island and 128 yards against JMU. The duo went each went over 100 yards against James Madison and last accomplished the feat against Coastal Carolina in the 2014 playoffs.

Richmond is 42-54 vs nationally ranked teams over the last 20 years. The Spiders have had greater success vs. ranked opponents over the last 10 seasons however, with a record of 29-25 in that span. The highlight of Spider success during that time was a 20-8 record from 2007-2010, including a 7-2 mark against the Top 25 during the 2008 National Championship season.
