The loss drops the Spiders to 4-12-1 overall, 2-6-1 in A-10 play. The win put the Bonnies at 6-10-2, 3-6 in league games. The Spiders have dropped their last four league games, despite allowing an average of two goals exactly per game in that stretch.

Vis scored first in the 37th minute on an assist from Lauren Hill when she slipped the ball into the right corner past UR freshman Jessica Stanfill (Fitzgerald, Georgia) right before halftime.
Vis got her second goal off a deflected free kick that bounded to her for the putback in the 76th minute and her fifth goal of the year.
Stanfill dropped to 2-5 on the season with the loss. She had three saves in the contest, including one on an SBU penalty kick in the second half.

The Spiders finish the season at home Sunday with a 1 p.m. finale against cross-town rival VCU. Richmond will honor its six seniors in a pregame ceremony at Robins Stadium. Admission is free.
