Richmond Women's Basketball Announces Home Game Times

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – The Richmond women's basketball team has announced the game times for the remaining home games at the Robins Center.
Richmond opens its season on Friday, Nov. 13 at 3 p.m. opposite Old Dominion as the first game of a doubleheader with the men's team who will welcome James Madison at 7 p.m. The Spiders will then welcome Eastern Kentucky to the Robins Center on Sunday at 1 p.m. once again as the first game of a double-dip with the men who welcome Stetson at 5 p.m.
William & Mary visits Richmond on Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. and the tilt with UNC-Wilmington on Nov. 23 will start at 7 p.m. as well to round out the four-game home stand to begin the 2015-16 campaign.
On Tuesday, Dec. 1 Furman comes to town for a 5 p.m. start and the Spiders will host 2015 NCAA Tournament participant James Madison on Sunday, Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. The matchup with JMU will serve as the final game for the Spiders in the Robins Center in 2015.
The New Year will bring 2015 Elite Eight participant Dayton to Richmond (Jan. 6) for a 7 p.m. tip with Rhode Island visiting two days later (Jan. 8) at 2 p.m.
The Spiders will be featured on national television on the NBC Sports Network when cross-town rival VCU visits the Robins Center on Sunday, Jan. 24. That game is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. Richmond swept the season-series a year ago to earn bragging rights heading into this season.
Duquesne visits on Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. and a little over a week later the Spiders return to welcome 2015 A-10 Champions George Washington (Feb. 7) at 2 p.m. and Davidson (Feb. 10) at Noon. Fordham (Feb. 17) at 7 p.m. and Saint Joseph's (Feb. 27) at 2 p.m. round out the regular season schedule for Richmond.
The 2016 Atlantic 10 Championship Tournament will once again be hosted at the Richmond Coliseum beginning on Mar. 2 and concluding on Mar. 6 on ESPNU. The Spiders posted a 19-14 record last season and advanced to the second round of the WNIT.
