Tara Hanley Selected to A-10 Cross Country All-Academic Team

RICHMOND, Va – On wednesday, November 18th, the Atlantic 10 Conference announced the men's and women's cross country all-academic team. Richmond senior Tara Hanley was one of seven women selected to the all-academic team.
Tara Hanley helped lead the Spiders to an A-10 Championship with a fourth place finish, that saw Richmond win the championship by one point. Hanley had an excellent senior years season; she had three top six finishes and was Richmond's top finisher in three of its six races.
Hanley's stand out performance was at the Wake Forest Cross Country Invitational where she finished in second place out of 106 runners in the 6K race with a time of 21:31.23.
Tara Hanley also performed in the classroom, she is majoring in PPEL (Philosophy, Politics, Economics and Law) with a concentration in politics. Her GPA over her entire career is 3.27.
