Football Sportsline Continues Tuesday At Outback At Noon

Another football playoff edition of the Spider Sportsline will be held this Tuesday, Dec. 8 with Coach Danny Rocco. All Conference standouts Brian Brown and David Jones are set to be the guests. The popular radio show airs live from Outback Steakhouse, 7917 W. Broad Street, from noon-1pm on ESPN 950, SPORTS FM 100.5, RichmondSpiders.com and ESPN950am.com.

Brown, a junior and Richmond native, had 41 yards on four receptions in Saturday's victory over William & Mary and set a Spider single-season receiving yardage record with 1,221 yards. He is the first Richmond receiver to ever have two 1,000 receiving yard seasons.
Jones set up the Spiders' first score Saturday with a 50-yard punt return, then picked off a pass in the end zone and returned it 100 yards for a touchdown to give Richmond a 21-3 lead. The interception was Jones' league-leading and UR record ninth of the season.
The No. 7 seed Spiders whipped conference and state rival William & Mary, 48-13, in this past Saturday's second round game at Robins Stadium. Now, Richmond travels to No. 2 seed Illinois State (10-2) for a quarterfinal game Friday night. Kickoff is 7:30pm ET.

Broad St., every Tuesday throughout the Spiders' playoff run. Outback Steakhouse, 7917 W. Broad Street, is open for lunch seven days a week at 11 a.m.
