Ross And Yang Earn All-Academic Atlantic 10 Honors

Richmond swimmers Melissa Ross (Warrington, Pennsylvania) and Kelley Yang (Ellicott City, Maryland) both earned Academic All-Atlantic 10 honors at the conclusion of the season, as selected by the league's Sports Information Directors, the league announced.
Ross won gold for the Spiders swimming the 200 Breast with a time of 2:00.27 as part of the team's 2015 A-10 Championship. She is majoring in biology with one year left to graduate at UR.
Yang took three individual medals and three relay medals at the Championships, setting a new personal best and meet record with a 53.65 time in the 100 Fly. She is majoring in art studies at Richmond. Several pieces of her artwork have appeared on campus and in the community in multiple art shows.
The Spiders won their fifth-straight A-10 Championship in 2015, the 12th title in the past 13 seasons. The Spiders collected the Rookie of the Year and the Diver of the Year honors.
