Richmond's Michael Morman Named A-10 Player Of The Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – University of Richmond Spiders OF Michael Morman was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week on Monday afternoon, the league office announced. The honor is the second this season for Morman.
In helping the Spiders go 4-1 this past week, Morman batted 12-for-20 (.600) with five doubles, a home run, nine RBI, three stolen bases and eight runs scored. In a three-game sweep of Dayton this past weekend, Morman went 8-for-11 (.727) with four doubles, a homer, seven RBI and six runs scored.
On the season, Morman ranks first in the conference in batting average (.369), first in doubles (21), second in hits (72), third in runs (45), third in total bases (112), third in RBI (47), fifth in slugging (.574) and sixth in on-base percentage (.429)
The Richmond Spiders will play their final non-conference game of the season on Tuesday, when the team travels to Charlottesville, Va. to play Virginia. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m.
