Spider Football Names Two Additional Captains For 2015

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond Spiders football team announced that WR Reggie Diggs and DL Winston Craig were named captains, joining the previously announced team captains of OL Thomas Evans and LB Omar Howard.
“We added two captains for the 2015 season,” head coach Danny Rocco said. “After spring ball, our team selected Thomas Evans and Omar Howard. As we finished camp, we voted again to add two captains in Reggie Diggs and Winston Craig.
“This gives us four guys who have really had solid careers here at the University of Richmond and have been very committed to our program. I'm very excited for them and look forward to their leadership here this fall.”

The Richmond Spiders football team will open the 2015 season on the road in College Park, Md. against Big Ten foe Maryland on September 5.
