UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – The No. 22/23-ranked University of Richmond football team will finally return to Robins Stadium on Saturday and begin its 2015 slate of home games with the Virginia Military Institute at 6 p.m.

NON-LEAGUE BRILLIANCE
Richmond has lost only one non-conference FCS game in the regular season since 2005, going 22-1 since then. The only setback during the stretch was a 12-10 loss at Gardner-Webb on September 14, 2013. Including the Spiders' annual game versus an FBS opponent, Richmond's non-conference regular-season record since 2007 is 20-8 (that includes wins at Duke in 2009 and 2011).
SERIES HISTORY
Saturday's game will mark the 90th meeting all-time between the two schools, with Richmond leading the series, 44-40-5. The Spiders have won the last 11 meetings and 15 of the last 16, with Richmond blanking the Keydets in the most recent meeting 34-0 on August 31st, 2013 in Richmond.
CAREER TACKLING DAY
Seven defensive starters at Hampton either matched or exceeded their career-high tackle total for a single-game.. Winston Craig (8), DeAnthony Muse (6) , Trey Morre (4), Dominique Miller (4), and Andrew Clyde(3) all exceeded their career-best totals while David Herlocker (7), and Seldon Hodge (3) and matched their career-best totals.
LAST TIME OUT
Richmond (1-1) erased a pair of 14-point deficits last Saturday afternoon and scored the go-ahead score early in the fourth quarter to come away from Hampton (1-1) with a 31-28 victory.
SETH FISHER
RB Seth Fisher's 12-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter of Saturday's game was his 26th career score, moving him into a tie for fifth with Stacey Tutt in the Richmond record book.
