10/24/2016 | Football
It's a bye week on the field, but not for the Spider Sportsline. Offensive coordinator John Garrett and defensive coordinator Chris Cosh will join Coach Danny Rocco for lunch and college football talk on Tuesday's Spider Sportsline at Outback Steakhouse, 7917 W. Broad St. The popular radio show airs live from noon-1pm during the college football season on ESPN 950, SPORTSFM 100.5, espn950am.com and RichmondSpiders.com, as well as on tablets and mobile devices.
Coach Rocco, Coach Garrett, Coach Cosh and host Bob Black will review Saturday's 35-7 victory at Elon, the Spiders' fifth-straight win. SIxth-ranked Richmond is 7-1, 4-1 in the CAA heading into its bye week, before hosting rival James Madison Sat. Nov. 5 at Robins Stadium.
Both the Spider offense and defense are ranked second in the CAA in total yards. The offense is first in passing yards, and the defense is first in fewest passing yards allowed.
Fans, alums and corporate partners are encouraged to attend the live show, enjoy lunch and talk Spider and college football. Listeners can call-in during the program at 804-622-0950. Emails, texts and tweets can be sent anytime.
