Season Notes:
- Seven Spiders earned All-Conference awards, including two on the All-Rookie Team. Richmond landed Megan Miller on the First Team, with Amanda DaSilva, Jessica Bishop, and Felicitas Heinzel on the Second Team. Becky Carter and Florentine Beelaerts van Blokland were honored as part of the All-Rookie Team and Hannah Thomson was named to the Academic Team
- Felicitas Heinzel led the Atlantic 10 in saves (161) while ranking sixth in single season saves for the Spiders. Heinzel also finished the season ranked fifth nationally in saves per game (8.47)
- The 2017 season marked the 16th-straight season the Spiders played in the Atlantic 10 Tournament. Since joining the A-10, the Spiders have played for the title 12 times
- Megan Miller picked up her second consecutive NFHCAÂ All-South Region nod and was named to the NFHCAÂ Senior Game, becoming the first Spider to be named to the team since Chelsea Davies in 2013
