Cline Named To Lute Olson Award Preseason Watch List

BOSTON - Richmond senior T.J. Cline was named to the Lute Olson Award Preseason Watch List, as announced by CollegeInsider.com on Monday.
The Lute Olson Award is presented annually to the nation's top Division I player who has played at least two seasons. The recipient of the 2017 Lute Olson Award will be announced at the CollegeInsider.com awards banquet on April 31 in Phoenix, Arizona, site of the men's Division I basketball championship.
Cline is one of six players in the Atlantic 10 to be added to the watch list.
A native of Plano, Texas, Cline was tabbed All-Atlantic 10 Preseason First Team last month, and has been named on a number of preseason watch lists from Sports Illustrated, ESPN.com, CBSSports.com and NCAA.com.
Cline led Richmond with 18.3 points per game last season, and had the second-most assists of any player 6-9 or taller in the NCAA.
