2016 Armory Invitational Recap

New York, N.Y. - The Spiders competed this past weekend at the 2016 Armory Track Invitational against some of the nation's top competition.
Sophomore Courtney Thompson finished in 10th place in the 3000 meter run with a personal best of 9:51.33. Kelly Bailey also competed in the 3000, finishing in 26th with a time of 10:11.29.
Senior Jade Gregory finished seventh in the 500 meter dash with a time 1:14.75
In the 1000 meter run, Haley Preschutti and Stephanie Hughes finished back to back in 17th and 18th with times of 2:55.84 and 2:56.02 respectively.
Running in the 5000 meter run was Shelby Cain, who finished in 15th out of 31 competitors with a time of 17:42.72.
The Richmond women's indoor track & field will be back in action next weekend at the Liberty Quad.
