Spiders Earned Highest Ranking In School History

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. –The University of Richmond men's lacrosse team reached another milestone in its already impressive season, earning the higest ever ranking in the three-year history of the program.
The Spiders jumped into the Inside Lacrosse poll at No. 18 this week after winning their last three contests, including a victory over No. 9 and perennial lacrosse powerhouse Duke in Durham.
Richmond's 6-1 record marks the best start since the program's inception in 2014.
Last season, Richmond earned its first-ever national ranking at #20 in the April 27th Inside Lacrosse poll.
The Spiders will put their perfect 4-0-road record on the line when they travel to Chapel Hill to face 10th-ranked North Carolina. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
