Women's Golfers Named To Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Patriot League announced its spring Academic Honor Roll for women's golf on Tuesday, tabbing four Spiders for the list.

Graduating seniors Kira Kuhnert, Elizabeth Rubino and Jessica Lydia were joined by junior Maria Pons Cano on the honor roll.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester.

Kuhnert and Rubino both graduated with political science degrees, while Lydia earned a degree in business. Maria Pons Cano is a rising senior studying accounting.

Lydia earned All-Patriot League First Team honors after placing third in the Patriot League Championship and leading Richmond to its first-ever league title. Rubino set a new career round in the final round of play to help propel the Spiders to the championship tropy.
