UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – There's only one Richmond. There's only one Spider Student-Athlete.
The over 400 student-athletes who put on the Richmond uniform every year are much more than the athletes that compete on the field, court, course, track and pitch. They are unique individuals that each have their own voice and own story to tell. They are what makes the University of Richmond athletic department truly special.
As a new athletic calendar is upon us, the University of Richmond athletic department is excited to reveal SpiderVoices.com, a platform for the student-athletes to have their own voice heard and their own stories told.
Spider student-athletes will discuss current events, hot topics in sports and gives fans a look into who they are away from the field of competition.
Each week, SpiderVoices.com will have a variety of features that put on display the personality and stories of the student-athletes that proudly wear “Richmond” across their chest every time they step onto the field of competition.
