Women's Golf Travels To Penn State

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Richmond Spiders women's golf team heads north this weekend for the two-day Nittany Lion Invitational, hosted by Penn State.
UR will play two rounds on Saturday, followed by a final round on Sunday at Penn State's Blue Course. Joining Richmond in the tournament is Yale, Delaware, Rutgers, William & Mary, Columbia, Oklahoma City University, Bucknell and host Penn State.
Richmond is coming off a fourth-place finish at the William & Mary Invitational at Kingsmill Plantation two weeks ago.
Junior Elsa Diaz led the way for the Spiders with a third-place finish with a three-round score of 224 (+8). It marked Diaz's second-best tournament stroke total in her career, and her third-place finish tied for the highest individual finish by a Spider in four years.
Sophomore Isabella Rusher shot an under-par round of 70 in the second round last week, while classmates Sophie DiPetrillo and Annie Collom continued their consistently strong performances in the 70's.
