Schedule:
11AM - Women's 6K Race
12PMÂ - Men's 10K Race
The Spider women are coming off of the A-10 Championships with a decisive victory against conference opponents - "the third time in the past four years. We have an experienced group going to the regional championships and that's always helpful in these races. We were eighth last year and we are certainly looking to improve upon that finish" says Coach Lori Taylor. Heading into the race, keep an eye out for the top Richmond finisher at the A-10 Championships, senior Amanda Corbosiero, for another strong performance along with the rest of her team.
Coach Steve Taylor is looking forward to the regional meet for the men, saying, "We're coming off a tough A-10 Championships race which rocked us a bit, however these men are competitive and they are looking forward to this event. It's a new course for the Region Championships so most teams will be seeing it for the first time. Our men are healthy overall and workouts have been on target. Now it's time to execute the race plan."
